PREMIUM FOODS BASED ON EVERYTHING
they’ve learned from nature!
At Zignature®, they strive to create the best dog food in the world. They do that by using meat first, limited ingredient recipes to provide a Physiologically Tuned™, nutritionally correct diet for your canine companions. Meat first provides the animal protein dogs need to thrive, while a limited ingredient philosophy eliminates allergenic ingredients, such as Chicken, Corn, Wheat Gluten, Soy, and Potatoes. The result is an optimal hypoallergenic, grain free, and low carbohydrate nutrition. They build on this natural foundation by adding vital supplements such as antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and a complete spectrum of vitamins and minerals for holistic pet food that goes beyond nature to become your pet’s signature food for life.
MEAT FIRST PHILOSOPHY
While we all consider our pets to be members of the family, their dietary needs are different than ours. As carnivores, they require a diet high in protein. That’s why the first ingredient in any Zignature® product will always be quality meat or fish. This isn’t just what your pet craves, it’s what they need to build a soft, silky coat, healthy muscles, and strong bones. Meat first, the way nature intended.
Zignature’s recipes mirror the true diet your pet’s ancestors thrived on in the wild. While prey caught may vary from day to day, the meals were limited in content. They follow this blueprint in creating natural dog food that limits the number of ingredients in their recipes. This ensures proper digestion for your dog, while minimizing possible allergens and food sensitivities that can affect their health.
You should be counting carbs, at least when it comes to your canine. Dogs thrive on a high protein diet that is rich in nutrients from meat sources. Carbohydrates do provide important nutritional benefits, but they have to be of the right kind. Zignature’s limited ingredient recipes omit high-glycemic carbohydrates, which are often commonly used industry staples. Instead, they use low-glycemic legumes, such as whole Chickpeas, which promote stable blood sugar and provide valuable dietary fiber.
WHAT THEY’VE LEARNED
Zignature takes full advantage of the latest advances in nutritional science. All of their recipes are enhanced with the health benefits of supplements such as essential fatty acids, antioxidants, and a complete spectrum of vitamins and minerals. This way, they provide the healthiest dog food in every delicious bite.
THE GREAT THING ABOUT CATS, THEY AREN’T SHY ABOUT GIVING THEIR OPINIONS.
As we all know, cats are very particular about what they eat. And not just from a nutritional standpoint. If they don’t love the taste of something, they simply won’t eat it. So, to get the flavor of their recipes just right, Fussie Cat turned to the experts: actual cats. By co-creating their recipes with the cats who enjoy them, they learned that while some felines love their Boneless Chicken in Gravy with Sweet Potatoes, others enjoy Chicken with a flavorful helping of Duck, or even Anchovies. While other cats have more pescetarian tastes, and prefer their bowls filled with fish, like quality Tuna mixed with tasty Shrimp or Anchovies. Thanks to the extensive feedback they get from their feline focus groups, they’re able to create Physiologically Tuned™ recipes that are as delicious as they are nutritious.
While we all consider our cats to be members of the family, their dietary needs couldn’t be more different than humans. As strict carnivores, they simply cannot thrive on an omnivorous diet that’s high in carbohydrates.
Nature has given your cat a physiology designed to process meat extremely efficiently. At least 20% of your cat’s diet should be protein for proper nourishment. And not from protein sources such as Soy.
Only animal sources provide complete protein and amino acids. All Fussie Cat recipes start with Meat First, but regardless of what cat food brand you choose, read the label to ensure it starts with high-quality animal protein for the health of your pet.
When it comes to human diets, there’s great debate over high or low carbohydrate diets. But when it comes to cats, there’s no debate. Your cat will thrive on a high protein diet. A high-quality canned food has approximately 3 to 5 percent of its calories from carbohydrates.
Cats instinctively have a low thirst drive, and are physiologically designed to obtain most of their water from their diet. A cat’s normal prey is approximately 70 percent water. So, even if you always keep their water bowl full, that may not be enough. Canned wet food contains approximately 78 percent water, similar to a diet in the wild. By feeding your feline Physiologically Correct food with a high water content you’ll help support needed hydration.
Fussie Cat is produced in an FDA-registered kitchen in Thailand that also produces canned food for human consumption. Therefore, the same measures that are implemented to safeguard food packaged for people are applied to the food they make for your pet.
Quality controls meet international standards, to ensure your cat’s health, and your peace of mind.
Top down inspections and examinations take place on ingredients on a daily basis, including but not limited to: Pest Control, Food Safety, Heavy Metals, Pathogens, Contamination, and Pesticides.
