Come out and join Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary at Chow Hound Pet Supply. This is a great opportunity for you to come out and get more information about Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary. Find out about volunteering, donating, and adopting.

Route 66 Tour at Cascade Chow Hound

Wednesday, September 8 from 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Chow Hound and the Humane Society of Kent County (HSKC) welcome the North Shore Animal League "Get Your Licks on Route 66" cross-country adoption tour! The custom 36 foot mobile adoption unit will travel from the Midwest to California on famous Route 66. At each stop they will talk about homeless animals and help people adopt dogs from local shelters. They will stop in Grand Rapids on Wednesday, Sept. 8th at our 6787 Cascade Rd. Chow Hound store from 2 - 7 PM. (Phone: (616) 285-9111 There will be adoptable dogs and cats on hand from the HSKC. DON"T MISS IT! The North Shore Animal League is the worlds largest no-kill shelter and is located in New York.

Harbor Humane Society Adopt-a-thons at Holland Chow Hound

11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

660 Chicago Dr. (at Waverly just east of US 31)(MAP)

Visit Harbor Humane Society dogs, puppies, cats and kittens right in our store. You can learn about each animal's history and temperament, talk with adoption staff and volunteers, and hold and visit with the pets to see if one might be the right fit for your household.

All 2010 dog adoption days will be at our Northland Drive store. All events are from 1PM - 3PM (subject to change)

Chow Hound Pet and the Humane Society have partnered to provide affordable microchipping and toenail clipping for your dogs and cats
Microchipping is a great way to ensure that your beloved pet will find it's way home if it gets lost while playing outside. And clipping toenails is a monthly ritual that you probably would rather not deal with, that's why we will do it for you every month!

The dates and locations for these events are listed below. All Chip & Clip events happen from 5-7 pm.

• November 4 at Grand Rapids - Northwest
• December 2 at Breton Village
